[![New call-to-action](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/6264166/50405352-59ad-468f-8d9f-cf22c17cddf7.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/6264166/50405352-59ad-468f-8d9f-cf22c17cddf7) The Work In 2023, iC2 was appointed by The English National Opera, the Coliseum to upgrade the [CCTV system](https://www.ic2cctv.com/integrated-security-systems-installation-services) and install additional CCTV cameras within the Coliseum. ## The Challenge A key part of the design was covering the main auditorium with 8K [CCTV cameras](https://www.ic2cctv.com/blog/commercial-cctv-security-systems-a-fascinating-history) to give the best coverage possible.   The site is a Grade 1 listed building, this required iC2 to work with the architects to meet the requirements of a listed building while providing discreet placement of the cameras.   ## The Result iC2 transformed The English National Opera security system into a powerful and easy to use network, enabling them to efficiently and effectively monitor all critical areas while providing a safe environment for the public.   “From the outset, Ic2 demonstrated an in depth understanding of our site requirements.
