Increasing popularity of fire safety and security industry awards

security-logoiC2 has been installing award winning Avigilon video management solutions into award winning sites such as Acton High School for a number of years. Now it’s our chance to shine because we have been shortlisted in the Security & Fire Excellence Awards 2016.

New call-to-action

This industry event has become increasingly popular in the 18 years since it was first organised. It is owned by UBM, the leading global events organiser of IFSEC International and FIREX International, two of the most respected trade showcases for security and fire safety innovation and expertise.

For 2016, entry levels to the awards are up 17% up on last year’s record number. For iC2 it means being a finalist this year is a better achievement than ever before. iC2 is to be judged against 7 other contenders in the Small to Medium Security Installer of the Year category.

Host Jimmy Carr and the last laugh

The Security & Fire Excellence Awards are being held on Wednesday 23 November 2016 at London Hilton on Park Lane. The event has been a sell out for the past two-years and has an attendance capacity of around 1000 people. Many of last year’s attendees acknowledge the importance of a good Master of Ceremonies.

Repeating his 2015 appearance, the host is funny man Jimmy Carr, whose career seems to be resurgent since reports about his tax affairs provoked comment from former Prime Minister David Cameron in 2012. It looks like Mr Carr has had the last laugh there… and he’s still smiling!
