Mental health conditions produce a wide range of care needs and risks, including acute. Binary tagging prevents patients leaving a facility unless accompanied by a carer with a complementary tag. When it comes to restraint, video is the form of evidence most likely to show if restraining action has been applied in line with best practice and applicable regulatory codes.
